Not What It Seems

The idea of conceptual photography has always intrigued me, in fact, it's what made me want to be a photographer at the ripe age of 8.  After seeing an image that one of my uncles' had created (which happens to have been published in a magazine), I knew that photography wasn't just smiling faces, but a creative outlet. Recently, I've been inspired by one of my former instructors from school to challenge myself artistically, to get away from what's right and what's wrong and just shoot...here's where it's taken me, so far.

I know what I think and see when I look at these images, and the thought process that went behind them, but I've always loved seeing what other people bring to an image that they're not emotionally invested in.  What do they say to ya'll?
