Once upon a time, I went to Oregon & everywhere in between.

So, when I was in school, the Photo Arts Club that I was apart of went to Portland, OR. I've been meaning to put these photos up for some time, now, but kept forgetting :) Anyway, what you're about to see are a few places we stopped at on our way there and also shots from when we were in the city.

Sometimes a photo is about noticing the simplicity of a moment.

Water drops on a window tend to be photographed a lot, but I had to put it up. Who doesn't love seeing water drops? There's just something so calm and peaceful about them. They remind me to enjoy the small things in life.

Click on this photo to make it bigger...it looks better when you do :)

I had a thing for windows while I was there...

Channeling my inner Irving Penn.

As you can tell, I wanted to focus on the detail of Portland. You know, the little things that might not catch your eye right away, if at all.

Except for here...this is definitely not a detail shot, haha. Here's one of the few days when the sun was actually out :)
